Bowflex® 840 Kettlebell | TURKISH GET-UP (TGU)


Welcome to our Bowflex 840 Kettlebell video series. Here we will help by showing you the correct form and give you examples of specific kettlebell movements. The Full Turkish Get-up (TGU): 1) The Set-Up Start lying on your back with feet 45 degrees apart, right knee bent and foot planted on the ground. Hold the kettlebell in your right hand with arm extended to the ceiling, left arm pressed into the floor, 45 degrees from your body. Keep your eyes glued to the bell at all times. 2) The Get-Up Push your right foot into the ground, rolling to your left side, pushing yourself up to your elbow and reaching the bell to the ceiling. Next press your hand down and extend your left elbow. Draw your hips and left leg back to a ‘bent kneel’ position. Flip to an upright kneel and push your front foot down to stand tall at the top. Retrace your steps working your way back down to your starting position. .
