The Visor Mag is a great product to use when you need to free up both hands for a specific task. It’s a set of clip on, flip up magnifying glasses that attaches to the brim of most hats. Clip the magnifier to the brim of the hat. The lenses are on a hinge which allows it to easily extend down. The Visor Mag comes in three different powers: 1) 1.75x magnification which equates to a +3.00 diopter (VM-10) 2) 2x magnification which equates to a +4.00 diopter (VM-12) 3) 2.25x magnification which equates to a +5.00 diopter (VM-14) The Visor Mag features full frame lenses which helps to see a full field of view. The stronger the magnification, the closer the focal distance. This is a function of optics. It has crystal clear acrylic lenses which allows for a sharp distortion free view. Use the 1.75x magnification for normal use. The 2x magnification for a little stronger magnification, and the 2.25x magnification to view fine details.
